Vital signs check

Your urgent care provider checks your pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and other vital signs. They also weigh you.

Symptom review

The Pronto Med Care team discusses your lifestyle, symptoms, medications, and more during the medical history review portion of an urgent care visit. 

Medical exam

During a medical exam, your provider screens for signs of an illness, injury, or disease. They assess your reflexes, limbs, abdomen, neck, eyes, ears, throat, and more. They also listen to your heartbeat and breathing.

Diagnostic tests

Diagnostic tests you may be a candidate for include a urinalysis, blood testing, asthma or allergy testing, nasal or throat swabs, a biopsy, X-rays, or other imaging procedures. 

Treatment recommendations 

Based on your symptoms and diagnosis, the Pronto Med Care team offers treatment recommendations. They might suggest rest and fluids, bracing, home remedies, over-the-counter medications, or prescription medicines.
